About Us
The Club is situated in the Old Moulsham part of Chelmsford, Essex.   The Club is open to both men and lady bowlers and has a membership of 115 full Members of which 42 are ladies.   Our youngest member is 13 years of age.   Our outdoor green is a six-rink grass green, on which we play from mid April to late September.
		In the winter months (October-mid April) the Club hall is used for Short Mat.  We run an internal league on Monday/Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.  Thursday and Friday evenings are used by our three teams that play in the South East Essex Short Mat Leagues, Division 1,2 and 3.  Most Weekend we play friendlies against other Short Mat Clubs.
The Club hall has a fully licensed bar and a fully equipped Kitchen.   The Club has a social section that put on about eight functions a year, often catering for up to 75 individuals.
